skype finally went pubic! yay! if you havent heard of this, its a free, spyware-free software application that allows you to talk to anybody over the internet using either a headset/mic or a usb phone. did i mention its FREE?

yah......so.....everybody else is getting easy A's in lit, while i'm struggling to clutch onto mine. Its fucking ridiculous........this guy is the worst teacher ever. We have yet to actually fucking DISCUSS something we've read. We always go off on stupid tangents, and while a normal teacher would direct discussion back to the damn literature, he stays on the tangent, which inevitably has nothing to do with the damn book. If you have this TA, run for your fucking life. JUSTIN ST.CLAIR. Get the fuck out while you can, please......just run. Take any other section.....ANY! You wont learn anything you didnt learn in 8th grade, and your GPA will take a hit. This guy DEFINES some of the problems with education (which I would go into, if i didnt have to sleep so i can study for finals...). I have an econ test, and a math test, but i'm not even bothering studying those...
Bottom line: rush is a fucking moron, and my lit ta is a jackass. |

| Why Lit TA's suck at their job |

ever notice that lit is a complete waste of time? i sure have. The first thing i hear as i walk in (late) to my lit class, is "since our society has given the grade of C a meaning of average, you should all expect to recieve a C." Not exactly the kind of enthusiasm i was expecting, but ok....i'll stick with this guy (who happens to look like the American view of Jesus.....white guy w/ a beard). He then asks us why we're here (not like on earth....that would have generated discussion, just why we took the class). "uhhhhh...because its required" NO FUCKING SHIT!!!!! We're not english majors dipshit, stfu and teach the class. He gets all pissed that nobody starts discussing this (maybe he should have not assumed that we all were english majors), and as soon as somebody says something, he refutes it. So here's my point. If you're an english teacher- dont fucking refute everything people say, it sucks for discussion. And, let us read some good books, enough of this shakespeare crap. i'd go on for awhile longer, but i have to go eat food.
